TELE thing - HARVESTER #19

Well, it's kind of 'tele shaped' from the neck down ...

And a Silvertone 'Coke-bottle' from the neck up ...

inspired ( not for the first time )  by this fellow ...

heaps of photos of progress on my flickr site

and more details on the On The Make page soon ...

I'll be adding a new page here for 'inspirations' and discussions of some weird instruments that i've collected and photographed ... but right now time's a little tight and as you can plainly see i have a lot of projects on the go ...

Thanks for looking, leave a comment if you drop by ...

Cheers, Anthony

Thumbwheels

As seen on Jaguars and Jazzmasters of yore, not to mention my beloved Höfner weirdos of the 60's ... except maybe not quite this big.

... these NOS bakelite behemoths were too tempting - now all i have to do is figure out how to fit them into a guitar body ...

The aluminium control plate will get polished and stamped with some kind of arcane or irrelevent words once I figure out the mounting hardware. I enjoy hand fabricating parts out of alloy, but I want a Mini Mill for christmas!

TBC

Also I added RSS subscription to the site this week and already have some takers ... I don't exactly know how it works but it seems like a good idea to keep up with what's happening around here.

Cheers, AP
